The enterprise "Miltsis Signs" was founded at 1977. Today it is located in downtown Edessa, on Egnatias St. 34 and the workshop is a few kilometres away from the city in private facilities. However, the artistic concerns of the founder Miltsis Anastasios (Electronic - Electrician, member of Luminous Signs Union of Greece SEKIFE) had already expressed itself in the past. In 1972 with a lot of skill and a small suitcase with a few colours and a few paintbrushes, started writing his first signs in professional cars and shops. In the beginning, the enterprise began with simple equipment for the designing and manufacture of simple signs. A pioneer in the area, the enterprise dealt with the manufacturing of Luminous signs. In 1980 it bought the first Pantograph. With this the first engravings started. Later the serigraph was added to the equipment of the enterprise. In 1992 the enterprise is modernized furthermore with the installation of computers for the design and cutting of letters. The qualitative upgrade and automation of the enterprise opened his horizons for new collaborations in Greece (Ethiniki Insurance, FNAC, Public Power Corporation, University of Macedonia, Stavrakidis Group, ELTA Hellenic Post, Kyr Yianni Wines, ACS Courier) and countries of the Balkans ( PEPSI, OPEL, Ballantines, Kenbah beer, Commercial bank) In 2003 the enterprise included in it's possession one of the most modern machines of new technology, CNC Router Pantograph, for 3D manufacturing and machining (3D wooden traditional signs, manufacture of models, moulds, etc.). Today the main object of the enteprise is the manufacturing of Luminous signs (Plexiglass, Panaflex etc.), Etalbond signs, Luminous Pylons (TOTEM), NEON signs, LED signs (Luminously 3D Letters, concealed and obvious lighting). The modern technological equipment that allocates the enterprise, combined with long experience, renders it one from the most competitive enterprises of sector.
